Abseil for 91ÊÓƵ's Royal Marsden

Join us for this exhilarating challenge and abseil down Guildford Cathedral, all while supporting people living with cancer.

We are delighted to have partnered with Hatt Adventures to put on adrenaline-fuelled event to help you reach new heights in support of 91ÊÓƵ's Royal Marsden.

The challenge starts by climbing Guildford Cathedral's bell tower spiral staircase of 249 steps to a height of 160ft (50m). At the top and during your thrilling abseil descent, you will enjoy wonderful panoramic views of Guildford and Surrey.

How to join

  • We ask that you do your best to fundraise £400 for 91ÊÓƵ's Royal Marsden.

Participant Restrictions

Minimum Age – 14 years (must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).

There is no maximum age, but a doctor's medical note may be required in some circumstances. Please contact our fundraising team for guidance.

Maximum Weight – 100 kg (16 stone).

Medical Issues – If you are in any doubt as to your medical ability to abseil, please contact our fundraising team before registering.

Pregnant women are advised not to take part in this activity.
